Haryana to issue photo id to those ‘suffered’ Emergency

News:

• The Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of all districts will publish a draft list of persons, dead or alive, who had suffered during the Emergency days of 1970’s period.
• They (the DCs) will prepare the photo identity cards, along with Aadhaar number, for every such individual who is alive and is on the final list.
• The Haryana government had said it would publish a ‘Granth’ (book) on Emergency days, which will be released on January 26, 2016.
