Free training for youth will be given under PMKVY scheme

Applications are invited from the interested candidates to avail free coaching in various courses offered at Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendram under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) scheme, informed PMKVY district in-charge Matti Rama Krishna in a statement released here in Khammam on Wednesday.

He said that PMKVY was the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) introduced to enable Indian youth takes up industry relevant skill training freely which helps them in securing jobs. Two months free training will be offered in computers, nursing, electrician, call centre and hardware courses besides providing job opportunities. Material related to courses and uniforms would be distributed freely to candidates at the time of training, he added.
He also said stipend would be paid to the candidates besides salary after securing job. The interested candidates who cleared their SSC or higher education and are in between the age group of 18 and 33 years are eligible to apply.
