David Cameron supports ‘Make in India’

  • British PM David Cameron said Britan supports Modi’s Make in India and offered to sell Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets to India, terming it as a “better deal” than the Rafale made by France.
  • The British offer of Eurofighter Typhoons to India is still pending. It will come along with technological and engineering assistance for India to develop its own world class fighter aircraft.
  • He also said both countries need more political cooperation on climate change and other issues.
