Whole Wheat Atta Scheme For APL Consumers: Punjab

The State Government has a scheme for distribution of whole wheat fortified atta, through its nodal agency it will issue wheat out of the monthly allocation received from the GOI under the TPDS, to the roller flour mills, which enter into an agreement with the nodal agency for manufacturing and supplying whole wheat fortified atta.

Objective

• To provide healthy whole wheat Fortified atta (WWFA) to the consumers of the state.
• To provide high quality atta at subsidised rates to the consumers. 

Date of Operation

This scheme is being launched as per Govt. of India’s letter dated 17th January, 2008.

Nodal Agency

Punjab State Grains Procurement Corporation Ltd. (PUNGRAIN).

Eligibility

APL card holder of Punjab.
