To improve the situation regarding nutrition and health of children up to the age of 6 years, Department of Women Empowerment and Child Welfare, Haryana Government has decided to organize Rural Health and Nutrition Day once in a month and has launched Health Check Up and Vaccination Scheme.
Beneficiary:
Children in the age of 3-6 years, adolescent girls, expectant and nursing women and Anganwadi Centers will be given benefits under the scheme.
Benefits:
- Free health check-up, vaccination, services of pre-delivery and post-delivery will be provided the beneficiary.
- An annual rate of Rs.600/- for medicine kit and Rs.300/- for mini medicine kit at mini centre will be provided to each Anganwadi Center.
