Telangana: Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Shakti Yojana

Rajiv Gandhi Shakti Yojana is a Self Employment Scheme launched by Department of Youth Services, Telangana Government for the benefit of unemployed youth aged between 18 to 35 years. Under this scheme subsidy will be provided for the Asset oriented activities of Industry/Transport and Service Sectors such as Food/Forest based processing units/Handicraft Manufacturing/Physiotherapy Centers / Clinical Laboratories / Autos etc. depending upon viability.

Eligibility:

• Age of candidate should be between 18 to 35 years
• Educational Qualifications: 10th Pass/Vocational Course (SC/ST/Physically handicapped may be given relaxation up to 5th Pass)

• The Annual Income limit of the family of the beneficiary should be below Rs. 50,000/-

Benefits:

Beneficiary will be provided subsidy @50% of unit cost subject to a limit of Rs. 30,000 provided that he/she has taken bank loan of minimum Rs. 70,000 for establishment of units such as  tractors, cabs, light commercial vehicle, autos, auto trolleys, computer and DTP centers, concrete millers, bakery, general engineering, handlooms, handicrafts, flour mills etc.
