Scholarship Scheme for Higher Studies: Tamil Nadu

Department of Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi is awarding Scholarships under the M.G.R Weavers Welfare Trust to Handloom Weavers.

Objectives

To provide financial assistance to Handloom Weavers.

Eligibility

• Scholarship is to be provided to one male and one female student for pursuing their higher studies in 29 disciplines.
• Scholarship is for students undergoing coaching classes of Indian Civil Services examinations.

Benefits

• Student will get education benefits by this scheme to pursue higher studies.
• Cash awards to the students scoring highest marks in 10th and 12th standard.
