Operation Smile-launched by the department of health and family welfare, government of Assam on May 2009 with the aim to make Assam cleft Free. This scheme provides free surgery for children having cleft palate and lip.
Eligibility:
- All cleft palate or cleft lips children
Benefits:
- Free surgery
- It helps the children to live normal life
- For poor people those who can’t afford expenditure for this major surgery
