Under this scheme of Government of India in association with the State government primary class (I-V) students and upper primary class (VI-VIII) students of Government and Government Aided schools are served Mid Day Meal.
Objective
- To increase the enrollment and retention of children particularly from poor sections of the society in schools.
- To provide them healthy and nutritive food.
- To promote the sense of brotherhood and friendship among children from different caste, color, creed.
The rate of cooking cost per child per day as fixed by the Govt. of India is like this-

2. | Upper primary classes (VI-VIII) |
Rs. 4.65 per child per school day |
