Information Regarding Accelerated Irrigation Programme

There are several Major and Minor irrigation  programmes in India which are about to complete. These projects are funded by Planning Commision of India. To Accelerate the completion of the project, important guidelines are issued to finish this project.

Objective:

• To complete the Accelerate Irrigation Programmes.

Eligibility:

• Irrigation Programmes which can be completed in upcoming 4 years.
• Components of the projects not receiving any other form of financial assistance.
• New projects are not included in this project.

Benefits:

• Financial Assistance to project which are 50% completed.
• Funding to Surface minor irrigation (MI) schemes.
