Gujarat: Assistance To GIDC For Developing Multi-Storeyed Shades For MSEs

Objective:

• Promote and encourage MSEs Industrial units by GIDC (Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation) which aim at upgrading and improving state infrastructure and to boost economic activity and employment generation.
• Provide financial support to GIDC for developing multi-storeyed  shades for MSEs.

Period of Operation:

The scheme will remain in operation for period of 5 years from 10^th March 2015 to 9^th March 2019.

Eligibility:

• Any GIDC unit which will develop shades for MSEs along with following facilities:

1. Asphalt Road/ Cement Concrete Road
2. Storm Water Drainage System
3. Domestic Sewerage Collection, Treatment and Disposal System
4. Streetlights
5. Open and Green Spaces
6. Water and Power Supply and Distribution network at door setup of the shed.

• Any MSE unit which continues its production for minimum 5 years from the date of production.

Benefits:

• The assistance up to 50% of project development cost including infrastructure and overhead cost will be given directly to the GIDC.
• GIDC will pass on such assistance to MSEs on pro-rata basis.
