Free operations for children having congenital heart disease

The government of Assam launched the scheme for free operation for children having Congenital Heart disease. The scheme is launched on 1^st July; 2010. The main aims to provide free surgery in Narayana Hrudyalaya Hospital Bangalore and Kolkata.

Eligibility:

• Annual income should be less than Rs 6 lakhs
• Age should between 0-14 years
• Guardian should be permanent residence of Assam

Benefits:

• All treatment provides by the government
• Food,lodge,Transportation expenses for patient and a guardian also covered under this scheme
• It helps economically poor people
