Fish Seed Cultivation Grant Scheme in MP

A welfare scheme has been announced by Fisheries Department, Madhya Pradesh Govt. to provide best quality fish seeds to fish farmers at local level.

Eligibility:

Land owners of all sections can be the beneficiary of the scheme.

Financial Grant:

The plan is being implemented on a 50% grant (minimum 0.50 hectare and maximum 5.00 hectare water area).

Implementation Process:

1. Beneficiary shall submit the application to Assistant Director, Fisheries Department in prescribed form along with the copies of Map and Khasra of the land. After inspection of the land by District Fisheries Officer soil test shall be conducted, and if found suitable, the loan case of beneficiary shall be forwarded to the Bank for approval.
2. After approval of the loan from the Bank, Bank ended subsidy shall be provided to the Bank on demand.
3. After completion of infrastructure construction and receiving application from beneficiary, the grant shall be distributed by the District officer of the Department.
