Scheme for Infrastructure Development of Private Aided/Unaided Minority Institutes

For facilitating education of minorities by augmenting and strengthening school infrastructure in Minority Institutes and in order to expand facilities for formal education to children of minority communities, Central Government has launched this scheme. The scheme will encourage educational facilities for girls, children with special needs and those who are most deprived educationally among minorities.

Eligibility:

  • Voluntary Organizations/societies/trust running institutes/schools that are recognized by Central Government or State Government are eligible for the Scheme.
  • Voluntary Agency should have been in existence for atleast 3 years.

Benefits:

Financial Assistance @75% of cost for development works such as establishment of hostel building, labs, computer rooms and etc. subject to maximum of Rs. 50 Lakhs per school.
