  • French Ambassador to India Francois Richier tells Anubhuti Vishnoi in an interview that the Modi government has already taken some important initiatives on combating climate change.
  • That was evident from day one of Modi’s government when Mr. Prakash Javadekar was appointed minister for climate change.
  • That was an important signal that the perception and policies would be different and that the new PM had decided to take sure leadership in this matter.
