Students with Disability can get up to Rs. 10 lakh to pursue professional courses in India
In a bid to financially support disabled students to help them meet tuition and other fees, maintenance cost, cost of books and other equipment etc. for pursuing professional courses from a recognized university or educational institution in India or abroad, the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC)ΓÇÕs State Channelizing Agency (SCA) has implemented the Scheme for Loan for Education/Training to Disabled Persons.
|Eligibility:||Any Indian Citizen with over 40% disability is eligible to apply for this loan.|

Rate of interest: The rate of interest is 4% annually.
Rebate: A rebate of annual 0.5% on interest rate to women beneficiaries.
Repayment duration: The loan can be repaid after 7 years of availing it.
