Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Signs MoU with AP Government

The CEO of software giant Microsoft Mr. Satya Nadella signs a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Government today towards establishing a technologically advanced economy and better the usage of ICT.

Microsoft will support AP in building up to three proof-of-concept (POC) solutions in the fields of education, agriculture and e-Citizen services. Also, AP government will make use of Microsoft’s Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization lab technology to gather data, predictive analytic and policy planning . This technology in turn will act as a major player in achieving the state’s quest for a sustainable double digit economic growth and bettering public services.

The Tech giant has also extended its hands in supporting the state’s initiatives towards having an improved Cloud technology by providing Microsoft’s mobility, and appropriate technology stack. Microsoft will also provide an exclusive workshop to the government’s key administrative officials on improving productivity in government services.
