Maharashtra gov to announce special incentives for Dalit businessmen

Maharashtra government will announce special incentives for dalit businessmen by last of January. It will also help the government to create more jobs by empowering them by providing credit facilities easily available through banks.

The state cabinet is likely to clear by end of this month – having a number of soaps to encourage dalit entrepreneurs. The sops may include special incentives such as setting up businesses on lands provided by MIDC. As per the government officials, a portion of land in every integrated town will be set aside for businessmen belonging to lower class. Tribal entrepreneurs will be also included under this new scheme.
