Ladli Laxmi Yojana

The  government of Madhya Pradesh had launched Ladli Laxmi Yojana with a view to create positive thinking towards girls among the masses, improvement in gender ratio and improving standard education of health of girls apart from laying a solid foundation for their future. The objective of the scheme is to lay a firm foundation of girls’ future through improvement in their educational and economic status and to bring about a positive change in social attitude towards birth of a girl.


  • Girls whose parents are not income tax payer and has domicile of the state of Madhya pradesh can avail the scheme.


  • The girl covered under the scheme is given Rs.2000 on getting admission in class VI, Rs.4000 on getting admission in class IX and Rs. 7,500 on admission in class XI.
  • The girl is given Rs. 200 per month during her studies in class XI and XII. When the girl attains the age of 21 and had not married before 18 years of age, she will be paid the amount at one time, which comes to Rs. 1 lakh.
