IRCTC to offer drinking water at Rs 5 per litre

News:

  • IRCTC soon will be giving drinking water “Rail Neer” for Rs 5 per litre.
  • The price will remain the same on the platform as well as on the trains.
  • 1,200 railway stations across the country, plans to set up 5,000 water vending machines so that passengers can get water at low cost.
  • Rail Neer, will also be brought out in smaller 500-ml bottles targeted at short distance travellers.
