Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme: Bihar

The Scheme is designed for older persons who are at the age of 60 years or above. Financial Aid is provided to the old age persons as Pension every month. This scheme was earlier named as National Old Age Pension Scheme. The details of this scheme are enlisted below:


  • Age should be above 60 years (male or female)
  • Person should belong to BPL family.


  • 300 per person every month to the age group of 60-79 years.
  • 500 per person every month for age 80 years or more.

How to Access:

                The application will be submitted to the Sub Divisional Officer of the District and it will be approved further and the pension will be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary. The link of four prescribed forms are provide below:
