Haryana: Student Insurance Scheme

Department of School Education, Haryana Government has come up with a new scheme known as Student Insurance Scheme for providing insurance cover to all the school going children in the government schools in the state of Haryana. This scheme is prepared for providing contingency in case of accident to school students.

Eligibility:

• Any school student studying in class 1^st to class 12^th in government school is eligible for the scheme.
• Student should be domicile of the Haryana.

Benefits:

• Insurance cover up to Rs. 25 Lakhs on sustaining bodily injury to any school going children in the state.
• Insurance will also cover claim on account of loss of books in accident.
