Gujarat State Regional Transport Corporation has planned to install Global Positioning Systems (GPS) in its express buses to provide real time updates to passengers.
- According to State Transport Minister, Vijay Rupani, GSRTC will be installing GPS in 2,200 express buses by the end of December this year.
- The facility will also be useful for drivers as they can use the navigation system as and when needed.
- This is a part of their move to modernize public transport facilities in the state.

Passengers will get real-time updates about the location of their buses and will be able to plan their journey.
