Financial Assistance to Widows of Ex-Servicemen for Marriage of their Daughters: Haryana

The widows of ex-servicemen who served the nation do not have a sound source of income usually. This scheme is for the benefit of daughters of such widows. Financial assistance is granted for the marriage of daughters of Widows of Ex-Servicemen. The scheme is implemented by the Zila Sainik Boards in Haryana. Haryana Defence and Security Relief Fund sponsors this scheme. The key features are enlisted below:

Eligibility:

• The Widows had not remarried. She can be remarried to the real brother of her late husband.
• Should be a domicile of Haryana State.

Benefits:

• Financial Assistance of Rs. 11,000 to the widows if ex-servicemen for marriage of their daughter.
