Digital India pilot


  • Centre has asked for details of Congress-ruled Karnataka’s mobile-governance platform, which integrates 4,187 services, both government and private, into one app, Mobile-One.
  • The intent is to study it, get other states to replicate it and scale it up to the national level.
  • The Mobile-One app has generated business to the tune of Rs 5 crore and is growing at a rate of 10 percent every month.
  • Karnataka has also been taking feedback from users and experts from IIIT-Bangalore and IAMAI to improve the App further.
