Creating IT jobs Near you: India BPO Promotion Scheme

Ministry of Electronics and IT, GoI, through its autonomous body-Software Technology Parks Of India (STPI) envisages to provide financial support to eligible companies for promotion of their BPO operations in the form of Viability Gap Funding.

Eligibility

• Any Indian company registered in India under The Companies Act, 1956 or The Companies Act, 2013.
• Should have minimum average annual turnover during the last 3 financial years as per the number of seats applied for-

• An entrepreneur or society( registered under Society Registration Act, 1860) can form a consortium with Indian company which is able to fulfill the above criteria.

RFP Issue Date	3rd October, 2016
Pre bid meeting Date	17th october, 2016 (11 AM STPI-H.Q.)
Bid Submission Start date	2nd October, 2016
Bid Submission last Date	9th October, 2016
Bid Opening Date	16th October, 2016 (or any subsequent date/time)

 

Benefit

• Capital Support: upto 50% of one time expenditure incurred on admissible items upto Rs.1 Lakh/seat.
• Special incentives: For units providing employment beyond (5% to 10%), encouraging women(5%), persons with disability(2%), setting up operation other than State capital (5%), local entrepreneurs through consortium(5%).
