China and India fuelled Asia-Pacific HNWI wealth growth in recent years

  • Asia-Pacific’s High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) population and wealth in 2014 has seen a rise surpassing North America which had the largest HNWI population.
  • According to Asia-Pacific Wealth Report 2015 published by Capgemini and RBC Wealth Management, Asia-Pacific wealth is increased from 11.4% to $15.8 trillion
  • Asia-Pacific’s new wealth majorly comes from the emerging economies of China and India.
  • China and India represent nearly 10% of global HNWI wealth, and account for 17% of the global increase in new wealth since 2006
