To encourage sports in the state Sports Department is continuously putting in efforts. Sports department of Uttarakhand provides financial assistance to the Former Sports Persons of the state who are financially weak. As daily expenses are increasing day by day, hence it is tough for them to survive.
Eligibility:
- Sports person who are having tough time to manage for their livelihood and their income should be below Rs. 20,000 Per month.
- Sports person should not be getting any other financial assistance from other departments or Central Government.
